How Much Does a Racing Simulator Rental Cost?

April 14, 2026 M1 Circuit Racing pricing rental events guide

If you’ve been searching for racing simulator rental pricing and finding nothing but “contact us for a quote,” you’re not alone. Most rental companies in this space are deliberately opaque about price. We’re not. Here’s exactly what a racing simulator rental costs, what’s included, and how to know which package fits your event.

The Short Answer

Racing simulator rental pricing starts at $25 per driver for walk-up sessions at festivals and public events. Private event packages start at $2,000 for a 4-hour half-day booking. Full-day rentals are $5,000 for 8 hours. Festival and multi-day residencies are priced on custom quotes.

Everything below includes the rig, the crew, and insurance. There are no surprise fees on event day.

Walk-Up Sessions: $25 per Driver

Walk-up pricing applies at festivals, public events, and any venue where individual drivers pay per session. The structure is simple:

Walk-up sessions work best at events with high foot traffic — wine festivals, car shows, corporate trade show floors, outdoor markets. The live leaderboard keeps the competition visible and pulls the crowd in from across the venue.

Walk-up pricing is typically used at events where M1CR is booked as a vendor (the event organizer books us for a flat fee or revenue share), and guests pay per session at the rig.

Half-Day Private Booking: $2,000

The most popular format for private events. Four hours of run time with a dedicated crew. Everything is managed from the moment we arrive to the moment we pack out.

What’s included:

Best for: Birthday parties, corporate team-building half-days, private venue events, afternoon activations.

At 10–15 drivers per hour, 80 guests in 4 hours is a conservative estimate. Most events run closer to 12 drivers per hour in smooth operation.

Full-Day Booking: $5,000

Eight hours of run time, scaled up for larger events. The full-day package is designed for bigger corporate events, large private parties, and day-long activations.

What’s included:

Best for: Corporate conferences, large private celebrations, outdoor festivals with a single-day footprint, trade show booths.

At 12 drivers per hour over 8 hours, a full-day event can comfortably service 90–100 competitive laps before accounting for gaps. The leaderboard competition typically heats up by mid-afternoon as early drivers try to reclaim the top spot.

Festival / Multi-Day: Custom Quote

For multi-day activations, the pricing is custom based on:

Festival quotes typically range from $4,500–$12,000+ for 2–4 day activations. Multi-day engagements include overnight crew accommodation, staged logistics, and the full lounge and branding package.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pricing

Is the simulator pricing all-inclusive? Yes. The rig, crew, insurance, setup, and teardown are included in every package. Optional add-ons are priced separately and always quoted before the contract.

Can I negotiate the price? Pricing is standardized. For multi-event contracts or recurring bookings, we offer preferred client rates — ask about our annual contract options.

Do prices vary by location? Base pricing is the same across California. Travel costs for events outside the Central Coast are added transparently and included in your quote before you commit.

What if my event runs long? Half-day and full-day bookings have defined event windows. Overtime is available at $250/hour and invoiced only if used. We’ll ask before we run over.
